JAMESTOWN — An 11-year-old boy remained in critical condition after being struck by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle June 17 at 1:30 p.m.
Officers and detectives from the Jamestown Police Department responded to the intersection of Willard Street and Kinney Street along with members of the Jamestown Fire Department and Alstar Ambulance Service.
The victim was rushed to UPMC Chautauqua by Alstar and then flown to Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.
The Jamestown Police Department is investigating the accident along with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department Accident Reconstruction Team.
All parties are cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
No charges have been filed against the driver.
