NORTH TONAWANDA — The North Tonawanda Police Department responded to the 400 block of Oliver Street for reports of shots fired Thursday at approximately 12:40 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene and determined no one had been struck by gunfire.
The scene was processed and an investigation was immediately commenced.
As a result of the investigation a 16-year-old male suspect was quickly identified.
The male suspect was located by members of the North Tonawanda Police Department a short time later in the City of Buffalo.
He was taken into custody without further incident.
No further information will be released due to the suspect’s status as a juvenile.
