SALINA — The New York State Police in Troop T are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday morning on Interstate 90 eastbound, at the Exit 36 off-ramp in the town of Salina, Onondaga County.
The preliminary investigation determined that at approximately 11:11 a.m., a 15-passenger van traveling eastbound on I-90 attempted to exit at Exit 36.
The van initially missed the ramp and then slowed and attempted to move over to the exit when it was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer that had been traveling behind it in the same direction.
The van was occupied by 15 individuals.
All of the passengers in the van were transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the tractor-trailer and a passenger were not injured.
The investigation remains ongoing.
No charges have been filed at this time.
