PRINCETOWN — State Police arrested a 25-year-old Schenectady man on rape and incest charges May 26.
Brian S. Regels faces two counts of rape in the first degree, a class B felony, and incest in the third degree, a class E felony.
Troopers received a report of rape at about 12:52 p.m. May 26.
The investigation determined that Regels allegedly had unwanted sexual intercourse with two victims May 23 while at a home in Princetown.
The victims at the time of the crime reportedly were incapable of consent and one of the victims was related to Regels.
Regels was arrested in Princetown with the assistance of the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office.
He was transported to State Police Princetown where he was processed and then transported to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
