Middletown man arrested on multiple warrants, drug charges

MIDDLETOWN Kyshone Jackson Jr.’s whereabouts have been the subject of numerous state-wide law enforcement searches.

Two of Jackson’s three outstanding arrest warrants were for first-degree escape.

One warrant could be extradited nationally.

Detectives from the Middletown Police Department’s Street Crime Unit discovered that Jackson had been hiding in a house on Stoneycrest Drive in Middletown lately.

Detectives from the Street Crime Unit found Jackson in a car on Wednesday and took him into custody.

Jackson was found in possession of crack cocaine after detectives carried out search warrants on his home and car.

Jackson was charged with narcotics possession, narcotics possession with intent to sell, and police interference.

He was also charged with one count of Failure to Appear in the Second Degree and two counts of Escape in the First Degree.

He will be presented at G.A.9 on June 20 after being detained on $902,000 in bonds.

Jackson was earlier found guilty on May 25, 2021, of felony Assault 1st Degree causing serious harm and Criminal Possession of a Pistol/Revolver for shooting someone else in Middletown.

After seven years, he was given a 15-year prison sentence with a seven-year suspension.
