Approximately 12:07 p.m. on June 20, CHAZY State Police were called to a motor vehicle collision near 1547 Lake Shore Road.
The inquiry found that 18-year-old Kennedy C. Columbus of Chazy was driving a 2024 Ford Bronco west on Lake Shore Road when a tree fell from the north shoulder of the road and collided with her car.
The electricity cables disconnected as a result of the Columbus vehicle overturning and colliding with a utility pole.
On the spot, Columbus was declared dead.
The only person in the car was Columbus.
The inquiry is still under progress.
