MACEDON A suspect in a theft investigation has been identified by the Macedon Police Department thanks to public tips.
Police had shared images of a person connected to the case on social media and asked for assistance in identifying them.
The suspect was identified thanks to several emails that Officer Tyndall received from members of the community.
If and when an arrest is made in the investigation, the agency stated it will make an announcement.
The Facebook group was commended by the police for helping with the inquiry.
