3 men arrested in Springfield prostitution, child enticement operations

The spring field In two different operations to prevent illicit prostitution and the commercial sexual exploitation of kids, Springfield police and other agencies apprehended three males.

To lessen the demand for the commercial sexual exploitation of juveniles, the Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit, Massachusetts State Police High Risk Victims Unit, and Hampden County Sheriff’s Department carried out an operation on Tuesday, June 24.

An online fake juvenile escort was made by law enforcement.

After getting in touch with the online prostitute, people decided to meet at an unnamed hotel in the city.

Peter Chang, 49, and Vaughn Davis, 34, are accused of contacting the undercover agent while pretending to be minors throughout this operation.

Chang and Davis were arrested as soon as they got to the hotel.

To prevent unlawful prostitution, human trafficking, and other issues affecting people’s quality of life, the Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit and the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department carried out an operation in the South End area on Wednesday, June 25.

After a brief exchange, officers saw a girl who had been lingering in the neighborhood get into a car about 1:15 p.m.

After the vehicle came to a stop on Sumner Terrace, officers performed mobile surveillance and a traffic stop.

The motorist, later identified as Luis Negron, was taken into custody by the officers.

Chang, 49, of Enfield, Connecticut, is accused of enticing a minor under the age of sixteen, engaging in sexual activity with a minor under the age of eighteen, and attempting to commit a felony.

Davis, 34, of West Springfield, is accused with enticing a minor under the age of sixteen, engaging in sexual activity with a minor under the age of eighteen, and attempting to commit a crime.

Negron, 42, of Naugatuck, Connecticut, is accused of engaging in sexual activity for compensation.
