DEER PARK Over the weekend, the Street Takeover Task Force of the Suffolk County Police Department confiscated five vehicles and made four arrests in less than twenty-four hours.
Five days prior, a 21-year-old Coram man had escaped police as they tried to pull him over for speeding and dangerous driving, leading to his arrest Friday night and the seizure of his 2004 Infiniti.
The task force responded to a 911 call regarding a takeover near Long Island Avenue and Commack Road in Deer Park on Saturday, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of four vehicles.
