PANTON After performing normal lane construction on Vermont Route 22A, a 43-year-old man received a citation for sending threatening electronic messages to a road marking business.
At 2:51 a.m. on June 26, state police were called to LD Safety Marking Corp. after receiving a report of threatening communications.
An investigation found that after the company performed regular lane marking work on Route 22A, Jackson Buck of Panton made repeated attempts to harass the company via electronic communications.
On June 30, Buck received a citation for using electronic communications to disturb the peace.
At a later time, he is expected to appear before the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
