South Windsor At around 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday, a police car was hit while enforcing traffic control on Route 5 at its intersection with South Satellite Road. The police are looking for witnesses to the incident.
The cop was taken to the hospital as a precaution even though there were no visible injuries.
The accident is being investigated, and the driver of the involved vehicle stayed on the site.
