A person was reported to have fallen from a moving car on I-90 in Albany at approximately 9:40 a.m. on June 22. State Police went to the scene.

Troopers discovered that the person, a passenger in the car, had gotten into a verbal fight with the driver, Camerson K. Conery, 36, of Albany.

The passenger got out of the moving car during the altercation, hit the road, and suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

The injured person is still in the hospital after being taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

Conery was arrested by troopers during the inquiry for violating traffic laws and operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

After being taken to SP Latham for processing, Conery declined to give a sample so that the drug composition of his blood could be ascertained.

Conery had a prior DWI conviction within the previous ten years, according to the investigation.

Conery was released to a sober third party after being given an appearance ticket that was due back in Albany City Court on June 26.
