Police in East Haven are looking into an armed robbery that happened at around 9:37 p.m. at a Shell gas station located at 227 Saltonstall Parkway.
According to the East Haven Police Department, the suspect demanded money from the register after entering the establishment brandishing a huge knife and then fled on foot.
Near High Street and Sanford Street, the suspect was last observed sprinting across yards.
Local neighbors are being asked by the police to look through their home security cameras for any footage of the culprit or a potential escape vehicle.
