Bath man arrested after unlawful entry, sexual abuse charges

BATH On June 18, Loren R. Hill, 48, of Bath, was taken into custody by New York State Police at SP Bath after an incident involving inappropriate contact and unauthorized entry at a property in the town of Bath.

According to the results of an inquiry, Hill physically approached a female occupant of a private room without her consent after breaking in.

According to police, Hill had previously been told not to be on the property, and the room’s door was destroyed during the incident.

Hill was accused of sexually motivated burglary in the second degree, sexual abuse in the second degree, forceful touching in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.

Hill was sent to the Steuben County Jail for a consolidated arraignment after being processed at SP Bath.

On behalf of the victim, a protective order was granted.
