At 9:59 p.m. on June 19, BOONVILLE State Police were called to a car accident on Route 294 in Oneida County.

According to the investigation, Rhonda A. Baslow, 64, of Port Leyden, was driving a 2013 Honda Ridgeline east on Route 294 when she lost her right turn and collided with a utility pole on the road’s south shoulder.

After that, the car flipped over onto the passenger side.

Two additional passengers were outside the car being examined by EMS when troopers arrived on the scene, while Baslow and another passenger were still stuck inside the car.

The Boonville Fire Department helped Baslow and the trapped passenger exit the car, and EMS assessed them.

Due to minor injuries, a passenger in the backseat of the car was sent to Wynn Hospital via ambulance.

Troops noticed a distinct alcoholic beverage odor when interviewing Baslow.

Baslow was given standardized field sobriety tests, which she later failed, after EMS checked her and she denied any injuries.

Baslow was arrested and accused of failing to keep right and driving under the influence.

After processing, Baslow was freed with an appearance ticket.
