CANISTEO — Deputies with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 40-year-old man June 11 on charges of sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Nathan A. Clark of County Route 14 was arrested after a warrant was issued pursuant to a grand jury indictment, according to Sheriff Jim Allard.
Clark is alleged to have committed sex abuse with a person under the age of 13 and endangered the welfare of that child.
He was charged with sex abuse in the first degree, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Clark was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
