VALLEY STREAM — The Valley Stream Volunteer Fire Department responded to a car fire against a home on Ormonde Boulevard just after 10 a.m. today.
Upon arrival, Chief Anthony Capone found a car fully involved in flames next to a home.
Firefighters quickly stretched one hose line and put it into operation.
Engine 344 and Ladder 345 were first due to the scene.
Elmont Ladder 708 also responded to assist with the incident.
No injuries occurred during the fire or firefighting operations.
All operations were under the command of Chief of Department Anthony Capone.
