CLIFTON PARK — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office charged an adolescent offender with assault in the 1st degree Tuesday in connection with the May 31 homicide on Beresford Lane.
The teen is accused of having intent to cause serious physical injury to victim Simon Brault by means of a dangerous instrument, according to authorities.
Police say the adolescent acted in concert with Jaiden Ildefonso, who was previously charged with murder in the 2nd degree in Brault’s stabbing death.
The adolescent offender was arraigned in the Youth Part of the Saratoga County Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
The assault charge is a class B felony.
