At 12:43 p.m. on June 19, Fairfield State Police were called to a home on Comstock Road in reference to a domestic conflict.
A female victim who was interviewed by troopers upon arrival claimed to have been involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend.
Nathan L. Oldick, 40, of Newport, New York, was taken into custody by troopers throughout the course of the inquiry.
After being taken to State Police Herkimer, Oldick was accused of a Class A misdemeanor—criminal obstruction of breathing.
Additionally, he was charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation, and criminal mischief with intent to harm property, a Class A misdemeanor.
Oldick was released on his own recognizance to appear in the town of Fairfield Court at a later time after being arraigned at the village of Herkimer CAP Court.
