OWEGO Micah E. Pado, 28, of Freeville, was arrested by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office on June 25 in response to a bench warrant issued by Tioga County Court. He was charged with one count of third-degree bail jumping, a misdemeanor.
Pado broke the conditions of his probation monitoring, which led to the issuance of the bench warrant.
When he did to show up for County Court in December 2024, a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Pado was sent to Tioga County Jail on $5,000/$10,000 bail after being charged in CAP Court on the accusation of bail jumping.
On June 26, he was supposed to appear before Justice Bennett in Owego Town Court.
Pado was also taken to County Court for the bench warrant and placed under remand in custody. He is expected to appear before Judge Schumacher on July 7.
Due to traffic warrants, a Candor man was apprehended. On June 25, Matthew B. Parkin of Candor was taken into custody by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office in accordance with an active arrest warrant issued by Candor Town Court.
After Parkin did to show up for court proceedings pertaining to a vehicle stop investigation, he was charged with many traffic and vehicle infractions.
He was released on his own recognizance after being arraigned in CAP Court on June 25. He will appear in Candor Town Court at a later date.
