At 1:28 a.m. on June 30, SCHROEPPEL State Police were called to a car accident around 296 Biddlecum Road.
North of Biddlecum Road, troopers discovered a red car traveling down what looked to be a private driveway.
The driver was identified as Fulton resident Geoffrey K. Mann, 33.
When Mann drove through a T intersection, he admitted to troopers that he was operating the vehicle and not paying attention.
The investigation found that when Mann failed to stop and continued past the intersection of Barnard Road and Biddlecum Road, he was driving a 2017 Dodge SUV north.
After traveling about 150 feet north on a private driveway, the car collided with a tree and an earth embankment.
The car was damaged and rendered inoperable by the collision.
During Mann’s interrogation, troopers observed indications of potential intoxication.
Mann failed the standardized field sobriety test that was given to him.
Following his arrest, Mann was taken to State Police Fulton, where he gave a breathalyzer sample with a blood alcohol value of 0.24%.
The charges against Mann included third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while inebriated, moving from lane unsafely, and operating without a license.
Mann was freed with appearance tickets that he may later return to Schroeppel Town Court.
