MAMARONECK At 8:17 a.m. Friday, the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department was notified that ICE agents were in the village, making arrests and conducting an investigation close to Columbus Park.
Following their response and canvassing of the area, detectives obtained information confirming the presence of ICE personnel earlier in the morning.
An undocumented individual with criminal offenses was the subject of an investigation by the agents, but they were unable to identify them.
At 516 Van Ranst Pl., another undocumented person with a felony conviction was also taken into custody.
Neither investigation involved or benefited from the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department’s assistance to ICE.
