Ira woman arrested on domestic violence charges

IRA — A 20-year-old woman was arrested June 3 on charges stemming from a domestic incident that occurred in front of a 2-year-old child.

Brianna L. Dudzinski of Ira was charged with third-degree menacing, a Class B misdemeanor, and endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.

Deputies and a New York State Trooper were dispatched to a residence in the town of Ira at 10:30 a.m. for a domestic incident report.

The investigation revealed Dudzinski allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another woman at the residence.

Deputies said Dudzinski hit and bit the victim, causing the victim to fear physical injury.

The incident occurred in the presence of a 2-year-old child, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Dudzinski was arrested at 11:32 a.m.

She was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment, where an order of protection was issued.

Dudzinski was released with a future court date in the Town of Ira Court.
