Manchester According to police on Thursday, a 35-year-old man from Manchester was arrested twice in a matter of hours on suspicion of domestic violence.
After police arrived at a residence on Laurel Street to investigate a possible issue, Thomas Rogers was initially taken into custody just before midnight on July 3.
According to police, officers discovered that Rogers had beaten a lady he knew.
Rogers was arrested at the police station and charged with simple assault and domestic violence.
At around 3:30 in the morning, he was freed on personal recognizance bail and told not to go back to the victim’s residence.
Following a 911 hang-up call, Manchester police arrived at the same home at around 6:30 a.m.
According to the authorities, Rogers was at the residence when the victim from the earlier incident fled.
Rogers was arrested a second time and charged with stalking-notice of order and breach of bail based on his bail conditions.
Rogers was arrested and is currently being imprisoned at Valley Street Jail.
