McGraw man arrested for shoplifting at Homer convenience store

HOMER On June 18, a 19-year-old McGraw male was taken into custody on charges of petit larceny for allegedly taking goods from a convenience store in Homer.

After an altercation at Joe’s Kwik Mart at 31 South West Street, Kobe R. Tetreault of Clinton Street was arrested at around 7:06 p.m. on Bartlett Avenue.

A larceny at the convenience shop was reported, and police from the Homer Police Department responded.

To look into the event, officers collaborated with the New York State Police and the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.

Tetreault was found by the police to have stolen goods from the store and dumped them nearby.

Police were able to recover the stolen goods.

On an appearance ticket, Tetreault was processed and released on June 24.

On July 15 at 5 p.m., he is expected to appear in Town of Homer Court.
