JOHNSTON According to authorities, the body of a 75-year-old Johnston man with dementia who was the focus of a Silver Alert has been discovered.
Allan Hill was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt with a soccer insignia on the front, blue pants, and black shoes when he was reported missing earlier.
Hill was described as a white man with gray hair, blue eyes, and a height of 6 feet 2 inches and a weight of 200 pounds.
According to the Johnston Police Department, they send their deepest sympathies to Hill’s family during this trying time.
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Hope & Jackson Fire Department, Smithfield Fire Department, Rhode Island State Police, and Scituate Police Department were all commended by the police for their support during the search.
