ROME — The Rome Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Black River Boulevard and East Pine Street at approximately 7:50 p.m. Monday.
The collision involved a sport utility vehicle and a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the motorcycle operator, identified as Logan A. Kerber, had sustained serious injuries.
He was transported to Rome Health, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation by the Rome Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team.
