Otego man arrested on contempt, harassment charges

OTEGO After a domestic dispute inquiry, an 18-year-old Otego male was taken into custody on June 16 on suspicion of criminal contempt and harassment.

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office said that Trever Romano was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

Romano argued and shoved the protected party, according to sheriff’s officials, in violation of a lawful order of protection.

After being transferred to the Otsego County Jail, Romano was detained for Central Arraignment.

The Town of Otego Court will hear the case.
