ALONE On July 3 at around 4:29 p.m., New York State Police were called to a collision on State Route 11 in the town of Malone involving a pedestrian and a car.
According to the inquiry, Kelly L. Helm, 38, of Chateaugay, New York, was driving a black 2023 Ford east on State Route 11 when Helm’s car struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the site after receiving life-saving treatment from Malone Rescue and New York State Police.
Makhan Singh, a 79-year-old Malone, New York resident, has been identified as the pedestrian.
The probe is still going on.
