PENN YAN — Penn Yan Police arrested Michelle L. Downs, 50, of Penn Yan for harassment in the second degree.
Downs was arrested after officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a fight.
On arrival, officers found that Downs reportedly attacked another individual and bit them in the hand, breaking their skin.
Downs was issued a criminal summons on the matter and will appear in village court at a later date.
Police have not released any more information at this time.
