NEW LONDON — New London police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Wednesday evening in the area of Riverview Avenue and Willetts Avenue by Maple Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 6:10 p.m. following reports of multiple gunshots being fired.
Evidence supporting the initial report was located by officers in the area.
The scene was immediately secured and a perimeter established.
Members of the Investigative Services Division responded to the scene.
