PAWTUCKET A man from Providence has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the shooting death that took place at 175 Broad Street on June 24.
With help from the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office, Pawtucket Police investigators detained Kenji Ingram, 47, of Providence, in connection with the shooting death of Larry Rose, 42, of Pawtucket.
Ingram was detained without bond after being arraigned in Providence’s 6th District Court.
Ingram is charged with first-degree murder, discharging a handgun while conducting a violent crime, possessing a firearm by a convicted prohibited person, carrying a pistol without a license, and firing in a confined space.
In addition, he is charged with drug-related offenses such as manufacturing, selling, or possessing cocaine that is classified as Schedule I or II, as well as manufacturing, delivering, or possessing narcotics that are classified as Schedule I or II banned substances.
Ingram was accused of unruly conduct as well.
