Dickford Over the course of two days this week, Rhode Island State Police made four arrests on a variety of crimes, including fugitive warrants, drug possession, and financial fraud.
Kim M. Dicostanzo, 63, of 89 Old Sayles Hill Road, North Smithfield, Rhode Island, was taken into custody by members of the Financial Crimes Unit on June 17 for acquiring over $10,000 in cash under false pretenses and using a computer for fraudulent purposes.
After being processed, she was released on $10,000 personal recognizance after being arraigned by a justice of the peace.
Additionally, on June 17, Phillipe Lefebvre, 52, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was taken into custody by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force based on an arrest warrant and affidavit from the Pawtucket Police Department for violating the sex offender registration law. Lefebvre’s last known home was 131 Harrison Street.
Lefebvre was handed over to the Pawtucket Police Department after being arrested without incident.
On the basis of an arrest warrant and affidavit from the Providence Police Department for burglary with forced entry into a house, the task force also detained Angel Diaz-Algea, 25, of 425 Cranston Street Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island.
After being safely arrested, Diaz-Algea was escorted to the Providence Police Department.
Adam Davis, 37, of 87 Columbia Heights Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island, was arrested by HIDTA Task Force members on June 18 on several charges, including possession with intent to deliver psilocybin, three counts of possession of firearms while committing a controlled substance violation, three counts of possession of firearms by certain persons prohibited, as well as eighteen counts of possession of a large-capacity feeding device and possession of a controlled substance.
In preparation for his arraignment on Friday, Davis was processed at Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
