Rome police investigate burglary at market

At before 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, ROME officers responded to a burglary alarm at Rizzo’s Market.

At the company at 401 S. James Street, police discovered a broken front door window.

According to an initial inquiry, an unidentified person entered the establishment and took an unknown number of lottery tickets.

The inquiry is still under progress.
