The County of Saratoga The community of Greenfield has a cold case homicide that the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is still looking into.
Twenty years ago today, 18-year-old Christina N. White of Milton was reported missing to the sheriff’s office.
White had left her home on Rock City Road at around 10 p.m. on foot, and she was last seen in the evening of June 30, 2005.
After failing to get in touch with her family during that time, they reported her missing on July 3, 2005.
Human bones discovered by a hiker near Daketown Road in the town of Greenfield in the spring of 2006 were subsequently determined to be White following DNA and medical examination.
It was determined that she was murdered.
This matter is still being actively investigated by the sheriff’s office.
