Syracuse deputies search for missing 75-year-old man

HYRACUSE On July 1, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to The Hearth at Greenpoint, 150 Old Liverpool Road, in response to a report of a missing and endangered person.

When deputies arrived, they were told that John W. Logatto had been dropped off at around 10 a.m. at a doctor’s appointment at 620 Erie Blvd. West.

Staff reported that Logatto had left the clinic by himself when the transport bus came back to pick him up around midday.

According to the investigation, Logatto has a history of acting in a similar manner and has previously been found within a week, frequently at VA clinics or motels throughout the state of New York.

According to the description, Logatto is 176 pounds, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 75 years old.

He has blue eyes, light skin, and white hair. He is bald.

He was last spotted sporting sneakers, navy blue sweatpants, and a white T-shirt.

Logatto is regarded as a missing endangered person because of his medical issues and the circumstances surrounding his abduction.

It is advised that anyone with information about Logatto’s location call 911.
