RAMAPO On June 26, while investigating a domestic altercation, police found a loaded ghost pistol and arrested a 17-year-old on charges of possessing a firearm.
After responding to a domestic dispute at a nearby home, Ramapo Police officers discovered the teenager in possession of a 9mm ghost gun that was loaded with eight rounds of ammo.
The suspect was charged with both criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
After processing, the person was discharged with a ticket to appear before the Superior Court’s Youth Part.
Ghost guns are made to be untraceable and do not have serial numbers.
