WATERTOWN In an attempt to deter stealing, the Watertown Police Department carried out a saturation police operation at Arsenal Yards and the Watertown Mall on June 26.
Four people were arrested on shoplifting-related offenses as a result of the operation.
A trespass order was given to one individual.
The Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force, the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office, and retail loss prevention staff all provided support to the Watertown Police.
