Worcester police arrest man on drug trafficking charges

WORCESTER On Thursday, a 37-year-old man was taken into custody by detectives from the Worcester Police Department’s Gang Unit on suspicion of cocaine trafficking.

Alvin Mojica was discovered in a car outside a house on Kenberma Road where police had a search warrant, and he was taken into jail without any problems.

Detectives from the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit helped the Gang Unit search the car and house at around 7:05 p.m.

During the search, police discovered about 65 grams of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.

Mojica was accused with possession to distribute Class B and trafficking in Class B 37-99 grams.
